This is one recipe i relished eating and i enjoyed every bit of it.......
Ingredients
Capsicum -1
Peas -1 cup (boiled)
Onion-1
Tomato-3
Ginger- 1 "
Garlic- 4 cloves
khus khus-1 tsp
saunf- 1 tsp
cloves-2
Turmeric-1/2 tsp
Garam masala -1 tsp
Salt as required
Garnish
Coriander - finely chopped
A dollop of butter
Method
Heat oil in a kadai and fry the capsicum pieces for 3 mts.Remove and in the same kadai add little oil and fry the cloves.Then add the ginger and garlic.Once they are fried add the onion.Wait till it turns golden brown and add the tomato.Fry for few mts and switch off the stove.Add khus khus and saunf to this masala and grind it into a paste.
Heat oil in a kadai and fry this paste till the raw smell goes.Now add turmeric and garam masala.add peas and capsicum and salt.Add a cup of water and let it boil. Switch off the flame and garnish it with coriander and a dollop of butter..
This makes an ideal side dish for phulkas and parathas.....
